June 2019 - Market Analysis

Real estate sales continue to improve through 2019 as June produced the best month of the year in both dollar volume, $208,661,815 and total transactions,185. These numbers bring our year to date totals to  $962M in sales volume and 865 transactions. 

June was a great month for new construction sales throughout Eagle County with 20 transactions totaling nearly $42M. Five of these new construction sales sold for more than $3M including a Bachelor Gulch home on Daybreak Ridge which sold for $10.2M ($1,275 PPSF) and a $9.3M ($1,027 PPSF) sale at the top of Cresta Road in Arrowhead. These sales bring the year to date total dollar volume for new construction to nearly $100M and 80 transactions.

Colorado Mountain Resort Market

Also included in this month's report is the 2nd Quarter Mountain Resort Market Analysis. This report compares Eagle County to the six other Colorado resort markets of Garfield, Grand, Pitkin, Routt, San Miguel and Summit County.
As you'll see in the report, Summit County leads all areas in total number of transactions with 972 year to date, followed by Eagle County with 865. Eagle County leads all areas in total dollar volume, followed by Pitkin County with $895M, per the graph below.
